BRIDGE MATE JX
The Bridge Mate JX Concept is based on a distributed architecture usingstate-of-the-art
technology for hardware and software. During the system design, attention was paid to both redundancy and segregation philosophies. The system’s robust design is important
onboard vessels where a service and system specialist is not at hand 24 hours a day every
day. The architecture layout reduces the cable installation considerably. Each interface unit can be placed close to the thrusters, engine and rudders to be interfaced. The design of the interface unit makes the Bridge Mate System well suited for retrofit and upgrading within all equipment classes.
The Bridge Mate JX systems are supplied in two versions. The standard version comes with a compact operating station containing:
- a 6.5” color TFT flat screen.
- a JX tailor-made operator trackball
- a 3axis joystick
- a Heading control panel
- a control computer
- a distributed Thrusters Interface Unit

The Bridge Mate DP 1 system complies with IMO DP Class I requirements in addition to classifications requirements for Class 1 systems.
